Starloch padded along in the grass, she sniffed the grass every few step. She was wagging her tail furiously behind as she watched a few bees fly past her. Starloch ran along the meadow, her legs pushing her body weight. She felt something dig into her paw and tumbled down, "Ouch!" she cried, looking at her bruised right paw, "Ouch!" Starloch limped a few steps then sat down and looked around, "I wonder if there are any cubs around." she said excitedly.

ooc| Uh, could you please make your posts a little longer?
The whelp moved like some dangerious entity, across this place she doubted she'd explored. It didn't seem familiar in anyway, rather, it seemed like something scary and unfamiliar. Not that the whelp was a coward or anything, but hey. Anything unfamiliar sort of thing freaked her. And speaking of unfamiliar. A rather unfamiliar scent. She quivered slightly at the prospect and lowered herself down, so that her belly was pressing against the ground. Granted, it was somewhat close to the ground on the first place but that wasn't the point. She slunk along, her attenuated frame dodging the taller pieces of grass. She was stalking, like this wolf was her prey. A little, muted snarl escaoed her muzzle, her gaze looking around. She moved through the grass, her eyes locking onto the prey, slowly.. but-- it -- was a whelp. A whelp? Oh joy. Whelps. Other whelps. Full of questions and ick.
She rose from the grass, scampering towards the other whelp with a rather nervous demeanor, taking in the appearance of the female. Oh, well. For a second it looked like Corpus, almost. But Corpus didn't smell like that, and he didn't have a white tuft like that. And Corpus wouldn't be here. She sighed, and focused a careful gaze on the bantling, wondering whether to speak or whether to just watch.
'Hello. Who're you?'
She hoped that her dad would let the whelp into the pack. It would be good to have another girl whelp, so that she wouldn't feel outnumbered by Nedatro and Duester. She smiled happily, but then subdued it. Was the pup hurt? Maybe a little.
'You alright?'
She shrugged and rested on her haunches, looking at the pup rather happily. For what she knew, this pup was the same age. It was around the same size, yeah. So yay. She suddenly became aware of something embedded in her paw and bit at it, trying to dislodge it.

((OOC: Sorry))
Starlock could smell a scent she did not know, she turned around excitedly. Her tail was wagging, she looked at the other cub, "I tripped on that rock... over there.. see it?" Starlock said, pointing her bruised paw at the rock, she began to lick her paw that had just recently been gouged.
"I am Starlock, who are you?" she said in a squek-like voice, she didn't know any other wolves other than her father and mother who were, very strong-minded in what they do although her parents were missing.. well her mother was killed by hunters the previous night but her father was somewhere looking for Starlock, she had no idea what had happened to them since last night. Starloch was young and didn't udnerstand death as clear as an older wolf, she didn't even know if her mother or father survived last night.
"Want to play with me?" Starloch asked excitedly with a sudden loud yelp.

Perfidy eyed the whelp with a sense of caution, not ready to bow into the other's playful demeanor. However, she forced a realistic-enough smile onto her muzzle, watching the mostly obsidian bantling with a friendly look. On the inside however, she was a festering pool of nervousness and distrust. She hoped this pup was dumb enough not to notice the uncertainty in her eyes, the nervousness, and the plain old suspicion. But what to be suspicious of? This pup was the same age as her or thereabouts. Roughly the same size, she thought. She was just being an idiot. Perfidy, the idiot. She shook her head slightly, and smiled at the other whelp.
'I'm Perfidy. My dad is alpha.'
She said it almost like she was proud, but she wasn't. Her father was a nervous wreck, constantly having to come to terms with delusions and paranoia. She was becoming a little, female, mirror image of her father, really. She shuddered slightly. Well, she was. She was paranoid, and suspicious. Not to mention scared of everything. But anyway. She listened to the pup's invitation. Play? Well.. sure. She guessed. Heh.
'Sure.'
She tried to sound enthusiastic about it. She did.

"You dad's an alpha, wow! I dunno about my dad niether about where he is!" Starlock said with less happiness.
When Perdify accepted Starlock's invitation to play Starlock nodded happily, she watched the other pup, she didn't seem to be trusting but Starlock pretende that she didn't notice it, she ran a few meters away and called to the other pup,
"What do you want to play?" Starlock asked with curiosity, her tail was wagging from left to right, really fast, she thought about other pups she might have known but she couldn't think of any, this must be the first pup she has ever known. The wind blew into her fur and her paws stood on a pile of rocks which wasn't as painful as the one Starlock had tripped on. Her paw didn't hurt anymore, it was dry on the skin now and scrapped pink but it stung a bit, Starlock quickly licked it and winced then looked back to Perfidy for her answer.

The small whelp eyed Starlock with caution, exactly the same thing she had done before. Hmm, what game? As long as it wasn't fighting. She happened to hate fighting games. She happened to hate it when others touched her, or leapt on her. It was brutal, and she didn't like to be around others who thought touch was a gesture of play. Her brain flicked through a less-than-extensive collection of games, and she came upon one she hoped the whelp had played. A small smile crossed her muzzle, as her gaze fixed upon the other whelp.
'You wanna play hide and seek? I'll count, and you go hide?'
She looked at the whelp, trying to seek some sense of confirmation, such as the whelp nodding or running off to hide. Hide-and-seek was a common game, but nevertheless she wasn't sure if this whelp had played it before. Perhaps this whelp, Starlock, hadn't grown up around many pups. She still seemed cheerful enough anyway, so Perfidy shook the suspicion off. Oh, what a sorry, paranoid little creature she felt to be.

Starlock nodded, "You want to count?" she asked as she quickly glanced around for a hiding place, a good one atleast and in this place it would be hards. Maybe near the trees or under som bushes or behind a rock. Starlock ran towards some trees and sniffed around for a place to hide with her tail swaying behind her, she saw a perfect place to hide, it was a bushes with a small clearing beneath, lots of leaves and berries covered around it except for the small entrance at the back. Stralock squeezed in and sat there waiting to see if Perfidy would catch her. Starlock tried not to giggle and forcedher self to stop by put her muzzle against the stump of the bush.
